Roc-A-Fella co-founder and executive, Damon Dash reportedly owes the government close to $3 Million in back taxes.
According to Detroit News, Dash gets a revisit from the Internal Revenues Service (since his trouble with them back in ’08), by virtue of his neglect to pay dues, upon which the IRS smacked him with a $2, 984, 364 lien.
The former Rocawear partner has had a series of bouts with the government, unfortunately all of which were made public because of the severity of cases. Dash was first paid a visit from the government in 2008 when he underwent foreclosure for two of his condos in downtown Manhattan, in addition to having his luxury cars repossessed because of unpaid fees. Things continued to go downhill for Dash, as he faced a divorce from Rachel Roy the following year. He was also behind with mortgage payments in 2010 (a figure cost reported as $78, 500), and was forced into foreclosure for one his Tribeca condos that reportedly sold for $5.5 million.
Damon Dash was last seen behind the production for BET’s television series, “Ultimate Hustler”.
