Waka Flocka’s birth place of Queens, New York had an interesting way of welcoming the rapper over the weekend.

The Atlanta raised rapper ended up spending a night in jail after he was arrested in the parking lot of the Coliseum Mall in Queens on Saturday.

Flocka ended up spending only one night in jail as he was released the next day…with no criminal charges filed.

He later tweeted:

“I’m finna jump on my flight 2 Kc ……. sorry 2 da whole m town 4 not coming I had spend a nite n jail with no charge #onlybecauseirap. Can’t no 1 stop with GOD got planned 4me [know that].”

Flocka will be performing in Kansas City, MO at the Midland Theatre tonight and those interested in supporting can pick up his new Ferrari Boyz album, a collaboration LP with Gucci Mane, on August 9th in stores.
