Rapper DMX gets an early release from prison after being sentenced to a year behind bars for a probation violation last December.

X became a free man this past Tuesday (July 19), after spending nearly 8-months in jail for violating his probation in Arizona, which would make his sixth time incarcerated in the state.  DMX was reportedly scheduled for release last week, but was delayed due to a failed drug test.  Now back in the public eye, the rapper was videotaped reciting a prayer, praising God for his freedom, while also offering a sneak peak into what he has in store for fans on his forthcoming album.
