MSDTV had to mix it up a little for those that needed an alternative break.

So here’s a pretty fun mash-up from Lights Over Paris, featuring the Game.

(Now if only we could get the Game to focus on making great music – versus venting all his issues with rappers via lousy track, sigh)

Oh well, check out LOP latest video, “I’m Not A Gangsta” f/ Game – for your viewing pleasure.

After announcing that he won’t release a mixtape before his new LP, Cole World: The Sideline Story, Coley came up with a creative idea:

Every Sunday til the album drops I’ll be back with something. Maybe just 1 song, maybe a video, depending on how I’m feeling. September 27! We almost there. Until then…

After the jump, you’ll get the first installement of his weekly series. One brand new song & four previously released songs. We’ll let J.Cole give you a play by play of each track.

Chris Brown offers an introspective look into his life in via his upcoming “rap” mixtape cover.

As seen in the cartoon caricature above, CB gives fans a glimpse into his notepad highlighting himself rocking shades and a gold tooth, with a woman in a thong, so blazing sneakers, and a skull with marijuana smoke as his background.

Is this a subtle cry for help Chris? I guess we’ll all officially find on August 5th when his tape drops.

Of course MSDTV will keep you posted. Stay Tuned..

Rapper has linked up with Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton along with the State Department in order to direct a concert to be held later this year in Beijing, China. In part with President Obama’s, “100,00 Strong Initiative,” (an effort to increase the number of American students in China); the gig will strongly aid to endorse both educational and cultural relations between the two countries. released a statement on the matter saying, “In order to become responsible global citizens, young people need to experience the world around them.” He added, “We must make sure that American students have the cultural awareness and skills necessary to succeed in a global economy.”

Will is definitely making some power moves. Considering him and Oprah are official bffs – why not rock the political boat.

Of course, MSDTV will keep you posted. Stay Tuned…

As promised, Lil’ Kim strikes back after being previously denied (by Biggie’s mom) with an extended version of Monica’s Missy Elliott-produced single “Anything (To Find You).”

After Kim’s verse was cut from the final song and replaced with Rick Ross due to an issue with Biggie’s estate (i.e. Ms. Wallace say “H*ll NO”) – Kim promised fans she had “something Bigger for [them]”.

Indeed she did. Now you can hear Kim’s full 16 bars, where she name checks the President and First Lady, Prince William
and Ace Hood.

Are you feeling it?

RnB veteran Joe linked up with super producers, The Neptunes, for this unreleased joint. This may or may not be on his upcoming album, The Good, The Bad, The Sexy, due for release on September 13th. Either way, when you got Chad & Pharell on the beat, you can’t go wrong with that!

Only a week after giving birth to her 6th child, L-Boogie returned to the stage for yesterday’s L.A. Rising Festival at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum. She doesn’t look like someone who JUST gave birth. Look at her…gloooowing big time! You’ll find more pictures from yesterday festivities & her newborn child after the jump.
