Why watch the NBA Draft 2011 in the comfort of your own home, when you can enjoy it with models, athletes, fashion designers and more – coupled with an open bar accommodated by Macallan whisky and Riazul’s Blue Agave Tequila?

MSDTV had the pleasure of doing just that last night, by making an appearance to The Samsung Center in Columbus Circle for the event which was hosted by Dahntay Jones of the Indiana Pacers and promoted by TR Luxury.  Proceeds for the occasion went to benefit Jones’ foundation which centers its focus on grants, education and mentor programs for inner-city children throughout the tri-state area, as well as Philadelphia and Tennessee.

The venue was extremely convenient for the event, as audience members were able to watch the Draft taking place live from The Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on Samsung’s impressive high-resolution screen in the back drop of the center; not to mention it’s surround-sound system which made the experience even more worthwhile.

There were several guest appearances, including the Founder and CEO of Star Vodka Charles Ferri, Jennifer from the Bad Girls Club, and Nany from MTV’s The Real World: Las Vegas.

Well…as MSDTV reported earlier, Odd Future members Tyler the Creator & Frank Ocean had an ongoing feud with Chris Brown via Twitter that escalated to a car chase recently.  However, the “twitter beef” seems to have finally come to an end.  In a refreshing turn of events, all 3 of them came to a mutual understanding (again, by tweeting about it) and decided to extend their love & good graces by putting it all in the past.

Touching moment…

Neek the Exotic sits down with Ms. Drama to talk about his new album with Large Professor, “Still on the Hustle”. During the interview, Neek explains his absence from the music game, and being discouraged as an artist. Neek opens up about how he got back on track and his thoughts on some of the problems within mainstream hip-hop.

On the note of contrived hip-hop, Neek calls out Drake as “one of the biggest gimmicks in hip-hop” and why he’s not into the Young Money team due to their “tight jeans” which he feels is not true hip-hop. Although he says he’s not into beef, Neek admits to a Wale jab in his album and says that Wale is “corny” and categorizes his music as “candy rapping”.

Towards the end of the clip, Neek talks about who he listens to and still appreciates in the game. At the end of the clip, Neek ends with the infamous “Drama Queen” freestyle.
