Keys states in response to her recent pregnancy:
“I was about five months pregnant when I was in South Africa. Having since given birth to a son, it really brings home the plight of these children who have been left motherless because of HIV…it is a big deal because I think about all the children who don’t have a mum,” as Alicia goes on to say, ”They have to fend for themselves and look after themselves.”
The R&B songstress helped found the organization back in 2003. She is currently on tour celebrating the 10-year anniversary of her debut album from 2001, Songs in A Minor.
