Ms. Drama does a brief interview with Cash Money’s Slim about his current venture, Cash Money Content. In the interview, Slim talks about his cameo in Wahida Clark’s book (Justify My Thug) and the possibility of having one of the authors writing a memoir on him. When asked about a possible reunion for YMCMB – Slim explains why he’s open to it.

Rosie Perez is not a happy camper. The Academy Award-nominated actress Rosie Perez has filed a lawsuit against the producers of NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” for the injury she suffered during filming of a 2009 episode in New York City.

In the documents filed last week Wednesday, Perez says she was “recklessly pulled, grabbed, yanked, wrenched and/or manhandled” during filming of the “Hardwired” episode on Sept. 9, 2009.

Her attorney, Brian O’Dwyer, told the New York Daily News that his Perez is suffering severe pain and has numbness in her arms. He alleges she’s been out of work for about a year.

The lawsuit names the producers of the show, which is broadcast on NBC. Representatives for the network have yet to publicly respond.

Steve Harvey’s 2009 best-selling book, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man is hitting the big screen. The popular advice book set to go into production this July. The film, directed by Tim Story, will be a comedic adaption featuring an all-star cast including, Kevin Hart who will play “…a self-professed relationship expert who is quick to give advice to his crew of friends, even as he watched his own marriage crater and head toward divorce.” Kevin will be joined by the actors Michael Ealy, Gabrielle Union, and Taraji P. Henson, who will portray one of the couples he offers advice to.

Others added to the cast include Jerry Ferrara, Romany Malco and Gary Owen. Stay Tuned..

You can handle it.’ And I took a step back. Probably was the smartest move I ever made in my life was to let him go ‘head.”

Rick Ross and his Maybach Music click are having a great week.

Their Self Made Music Vol. 1 released this week with rave reviews (check out our review here) and their CEO is on the cover of both upcoming issues of Complex Magazine and VIBE.

Check out Ross in the JAWS inspired cover with actor Andy Samberg for COMPLEX (above), and did his shirtless photo for VIBE’s sexy issue.

Ross is also promoting his upcoming album called “God Forgives, I Don’t” expected to drop this year. Hopefully you’ll forgive his shirtless appearance.

Ms. Drama sits down with Gorilla Zoe & Big Block to talk about Zoe’s upcoming album, King Kong, coming out June 14th. Zoe explains how this album signifies his growth as an artist and will be a fan favorite. In regards to Zoe’s future with Boyz in the Hood, Block explains that the group is contractually obligated to drop another album that will feature all its original members. He explains how he has been strategizing to put artists out and how he made Gorilla Zoe the artist he is today. On the note of diagnosing the music game, Big Block calls out DJ Khaled as someone who “needs to be revamped” and who needs to stop dropping the same song over and over again. At the end of the interview, Zoe and Block discuss the future of hip-hop and the new movements that are taking over.
