Exposing the Drama, Reporting Our News

The Atlanta University Center (AUC) had a welcomed surprise yesterday as Megan Good and Pooch Hall visited the Campus of Clark-Atlanta University in support of their upcoming film Jumping the Broom. If you were an AUC graduate like me, you can already envision the STRIP being on “freaknic” status for their arrival. Check out the pictures and brief excerpt below from the Jumping The Broom AUC screening:

Yesterday, actors Meagan Good and Pooch Hall visited the campus of Clark-Atlanta University in support of their upcoming TriStar Pictures film JUMPING THE BROOM. Over 500 students came out to catch a glimpse of the starlets, whose presence caused a near riot on campus and a trending topic on Twitter. After participating in a college press conference and signing hundreds of autographs (in the hot sun!), Meagan and Pooch headed over to STRIP Atlantic Station, where they broke bread with a lively group of reporters. The two ended the day at a special college screening of JUMPING THE BROOM. “That was actually my first time seeing it,” said Pooch. “I’m incredibly proud to be a part of this film.”

The JUMPING THE BROOM HBCU Tour continues this week with stops at NC A&T, Florida A&M and Howard University.

JUMPING THE BROOM is in theatres May 6. Visit www.jumpingthebroom-movie.com.
